GOVERNMENT HELP
ASPIRE FLIGHT TRAINING is a registered provider of DWP funded training. So we are able to help pilots who have been made redundant.
The scheme means pilots receiving training support funding and who reside in the UK are able to access our services to revalidate or renew their licence on the Dash 8-Q400.
FUNDING IF YOU'RE ON BENEFITS

You can claim back money spent on training if you’re unemployed and:
-
claiming Jobseeker’s Allowance
-
in an Employment and Support Allowance work-related activity group
-
required to do training as part of your Universal Credit claim
You will need to discuss any claims with your jobcentre work coach who should give you the relevant forms to complete. You should advise that ASPIRE FLIGHT TRAINING is your preferred training organisation and that we are an approved training provider for pilots who have been made redundant. Make sure they are aware that other pilots have been able to claim for licence revalidations as it is a necessary requirement for finding work.
If you’re claiming other benefits or unable to access training support through your job centre, you may be able to get funding from colleges and other training providers.
